The French original version of the CNGS General Description was written in spring 2000, and was intended in the first place to provide information on CNGS to the French and Swiss authorities. During fall 2000, the translation into English was completed. For reasons of coherence, the English version contains the same information as the French one, and does not take into account changes to the project which were decided in the course of the year 2000. |
