Installation of the provisional thick entrance window for the decay tube The 50 mm thick, 2.5 m diameter steel window to close the decay tube at its upstream end in preparation of the vacuum tests has been installed on 1 April 2004. The pictures show this thick window installed in the CNGS target chamber.
