Installation of the exit window for the decay tube The 50 mm thick, 2.5 m diameter steel exit window to close the decay tube at its downstream end has been installed on 25 March 2004. On the left hand side, the end of the decay tube in the hadron stop chamber is shown. The exit window features a water cooling loop, to be connected at a later stage.
